APLIKASI INFORMASI PARIWISATA KABUPATEN GRESIK BERBASIS ANDROID DENGAN MODEL SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE
Abstract
Kabupaten Gresik memiliki banyak potensi pariwisata, diantaranya objek wisata religi, maupun objek wisata alam. Namun, karena terbatasnya informasi hanya beberapa objek pariwisata yang ramai. Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Gresik melakukan pemasaran online menggunakan aplikasi SIPATU GT untuk mempromosikan pariwisata yang ada di Kabupaten Gresik. Namun aplikasi ini tampilannya masih kurang informatif mengenai tampilan aplikasi, lokasi wisata, tempat wisata dan lokasi tujuan wisatawan menuju objek wisata. Oleh karena itu untuk mendukung dan melengkapi aplikasi SIPATU GT perlu dilakukan penelitian pengembangan aplikasi informasi pariwisata di Kabupaten Gresik berbasis android. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Action Research, dengan model pengembangan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Hasil penelitian adalah 1) Server untuk penyimpanan database aplikasi pariwisata dapat menyajikan informasi pariwisata tanpa harus memperbaharui aplikasi pariwisata, 2) Informasi dapat diperbarui secara langsung berupa proses pembaharuan, pengeditan, dan penyimpanan pada database yang tersimpan pada server, 3) Sistem aplikasi memudahkan wisatawan untuk melihat objek wisata dengan arah rute tujuan yang disajikan dalam bentuk peta digital, posisi keberadaannya, dan mengetahui posisi wisata.
