PENINGKATAN PENGELOLAAN SURAT DAN ARSIP YATIM MANDIRI MEMANFAATKAN KERANGKA LARAVEL DAN REACT

Abstract

Technology now has a lot of impact on the ease of doing all activities.This research examines the development of E-Kesekretariatan, which aims to improve the management of letters and filing at the Laznas Yatim Mandiri secretariat division. Several problems occurred, such as delays in the processing of letter requests, delays in collecting letter archives, and traces of letter applicants that had not been fully documented. Apart from that, it also requires speed in collaboration performance, archive search, and approval of letter numbers to recap mail lists. This study collected data through interviews, field observations, and reviewing previous research. Web-based application development implements the Agile Extreme Programming method with the PHP Laravel programming language as the backend and Javascript React as the frontend, also equipped with Progressive Web Apps. When Black Box Testing is applied to all features, the results work according to the terms and feature requirements that users expect. In addition, this application provides a fast user experience and improves the ease of managing letter requests, mail data, mail archives, mail list recaps, WhatsApp notifications, and provides letter templates.

ABSTRAK

Teknologi kini banyak memberi dampak kemudahan dalam melakukan segala aktivitas. Penelitian ini mengangkat pengembangan E-Kesekretariatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan surat dan pengarsipan pada divisi kesekretariatan Laznas Yatim Mandiri. Beberapa permasalahan terjadi seperti terhambatnya proses permohonan surat, tertundanya pengumpulan arsip surat, dan jejak pemohon surat yang belum terdokumentasi lengkap. Selain itu, juga dibutuhkan kecepatan kinerja kolaborasi, pencarian arsip, persetujuan nomor surat hingga rekap daftar surat. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan serta meninjau penelitian terdahulu. Pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web mengimplementasikan metode Agile Extreme Programming dengan Bahasa pemrograman PHP Laravel sebagai backend dan Javascript React sebagai frontend juga dilengkapi dengan Progressive Web Apps. Black Box Testing diterapkan dalam uji coba semua fitur, hasilnya berfungsi sesuai dengan syarat dan kebutuhan fitur yang diharapkan pengguna. Selain itu, aplikasi ini memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang cepat dan meningkatkan kemudahan dalam mengelola permohonan surat, data surat, arsip surat, rekap daftar surat, notifikasi WhatsApp, dan menyediakan template surat.
