The program is designed to establish self-funding mechanisms to support the sustainability of community activities, enhance the LPDP's image, and build synergy with local businesses. The research employs a descriptive evaluation approach using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) analysis framework, with data collected from activity documentation, interviews, and observations. The findings reveal that the program has successfully generated revenue of Rp 1.6 million through over 170 merchandise orders, forged partnerships with local convection businesses, and strengthened community identity through exclusive products. However, several challenges remain, including suboptimal understanding of consumer preferences, room for improvement in product design quality, and the need for a more integrated promotion and documentation system. The novelty of this study lies in its evaluation approach, which not only focuses on financial outcomes but also considers the broader socio-economic impacts on local partners. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of developing data-driven strategies, such as consumer preference surveys, enhancing design quality through professional collaboration, and ensuring financial transparency integrated with social media promotions. These initiatives are expected to increase the competitiveness of the MY LPDP IPB program, expand its economic impact, and strengthen the sustainability of the community in the future.</p> Muhammad azizan Hak Cipta (c) 2025 Muhammad azizan 2024-11-03 2024-11-03 8 02 135 146 10.30996/.v8i02.132789 COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM ON DEVELOPING DIGITAL ENGLISH TEACHING MODULES INTEGRATING LOCAL WISDOM FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN KEPAHIANG REGENCY https://jurnal.untag-sby.ac.id/index.php/abdikarya/article/view/132811 <p>The community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance the capacity of elementary school teachers in Kepahiang regency in developing digital English teaching modules that incorporate elements of local wisdom. this program is motivated by the limited availability of contextual teaching materials and the need to strengthen teachers’ digital literacy to support English instruction at the elementary level. the method employed involves participatory training through several stages, including needs assessment, workshops on digital module development, practice in designing materials based on Kepahiang local culture, as well as follow-up assistance through microteaching and classroom observations. the novelty of this program lies in the systematic integration of digital module development with local cultural content, making instructional materials more relevant, engaging, and accessible for both teachers and students. the results show that teachers gained a better understanding of module structure, appropriate selection of local cultural content, and ways to translate cultural elements into simple English suitable for young learners. the program also improved teachers’ confidence in using English in the classroom and encouraged more consistent language use through interactive digital activities. Desa ini merupakan desa yang telah tumbuh menjadi desa wisata dengan berbekal potensi alam yang dimilikinya. Selain, sebagai desa wisata desa ini juga menyimpan potensi-potensi lainya yang bersumber dari sektor perdagangan, jasa, serta pertanian. Oleh karena itu kemudian pemerintah desa menetapkan pendapatan asli desa sebesar 1 milyar pada tahun 2025. Untuk memenuhi target tersebut, desa mengoptimalkan peran Bumdes untuk mengelola berbagai potensi yang dimiliki baik di sektor wisata, perdagangan, serta jasa. Seiring dengan penetapan target yang tinggi tersebut desa telah memberikan alokasi modal kepada Bumdes sebesar 100 juta tiap tahunnya sebagai modal usaha. Namun demikian tampaknya untuk saat ini Bumdes masih belum tampak mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki desa serta modal yang diberikan. Hal ini terlihat dari jumlah rata-rata pemasukan Bumdes yang kurang dari 200 Juta tiap tahunnya. Pemasukan inipun belum sepenuhnya berasal dari pengembangan berbagai sektor yang menjadi potensi desa namun lebih banyak berasal dari retribusi persewaan kios yang ada di pasar desa. Mencermati kurang optimalnya peran Bumdes ini maka tim pengabdian masyarakat kemudian merumuskan kegiatan pengabdian yang berorientasi pada dua hal, pertama ialah peningkatan kualitas pengelolaan sumber daya manusia serta yang kedua adalah perumusan rencana bisnis desa untuk 1 tahun kedepan. However, over time, many mosques have become limited to worship activities only. Through the Community Service Program (KKN) at Bani Sa’ud Mosque in Jaten, Karanganyar, students sought to restore the mosque’s role as an educational and social center. This study employed a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative analysis to explore the implementation process and quantitative analysis using the Participation Count method to measure community engagement. Programs such as Qur’an Learning (TPA), Arabic Club, Tahsin, Faith-Building Night (Mabit), Youth Forum, Sunday Lecture, Vegetable Charity, and Digital Da’wah Training were collaboratively conducted with the mosque congregation. Data revealed high enthusiasm, with an average participation rate of 71.2%. Melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Masjid Bani Sa’ud Jaten, Karanganyar, mahasiswa berupaya menghidupkan kembali fungsi masjid sebagai ruang edukasi dan sosial umat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed method) yang memadukan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memahami dinamika kegiatan serta pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis partisipasi masyarakat (Participation Count). The main problem stems<br>from the high humidity in Wonosalam, which slows down the fabric drying process by 1–3 days. This<br>condition reduces color quality, especially in natural eco-prints, and hinders productivity. Additionally,<br>designs that are unappealing to younger generations and a limited number of artisans further restrict<br>production capacity.The Community Empowerment Partnership Program (PKM) aims to improve the<br>competitiveness of partners by offering innovative solutions. The technological innovation<br>implemented is an infrared dryroom machine, which has succeeded in accelerating the drying process<br>of 12 pieces of fabric to 90 minutes (300% efficiency), while increasing productivity by up to 60% and<br>maintaining color quality. To address design issues, the PKM team provided training in motif<br>innovation using economical cardboard canting caps, resulting in five modern motifs that appeal to<br>various groups. Training in natural and synthetic dyeing was also provided to improve quality and<br>production capacity by up to 40%. Masalah kesehatan ini merupakan problem fundamental mendasar yang terjadi akibat adanya masalah kekurangan suplai gizi, protein dan lain sebagainya. Masalah tersebut menjadi perhatian khusus bagi Komunitas Sweet Babby Pokja 4 TP PKK Desa Pandes untuk menanggulangi masalah <em>stunting. </em>Kelompok ini memiliki kegiatan yang disebut dengan MP-ASI yaitu kegiatan menyediakan makanan pendukung ASI untuk bayi usia 0-2 tahun di wilayah Desa Pandes Kabupaten Klaten. Selain daripada menanggulangi isu kesehatan <em>stunting </em>komunitas Sweet Baby juga mennghidupkan kehidupan ekonomi dengan mendapatkan keuntungan dari penyediaan MP-ASI dan menerima pesanan makanan konsumsi untuk berbagai acara. Namun kendala yang dihadapi oleh Komunitas adalah penggunaan peralatan yang sederhana rumahan yang sangat terbatas untuk menerima pesanan dalam jumlah yang besar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan utama, yaitu: 1) Persiapan, 2) Pelatihan, 3) RTL (Rencana Tindak Lanjut), dan 4) Evaluasi dan Refleksi. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan orang tua mengenai pendidikan seksual anak usia dini dan metode pengenalan pendidikan seksual yang tepat bagi anak usia dini. Olympiads are usually held from district to international levels. However, some students and teachers find it difficult to update or enrich their knowledge in solving Olympiad questions. This results in teachers and students having difficulty when solving Olympiad questions. The strategy that can enhance the material and questions of the Mathematics Olympiad is providing modules of material and Mathematics Olympiad questions and demonstrations of solving Olympiad questions. The PAR (Participatory Action Research) method is the method of implementing this community service. The average value obtained by students was 10.67 out of 100, which means that the initial ability of teachers and students to solve Olympiad questions is still low. Furthermore, 46.7% of teachers and students could not answer a question. Furthermore, the initial ability of teachers and students to use the Olympiad material is still low, namely less than 10%, apart from the number theory material. After mentoring, the average score obtained by students was 22.3 out of 100, which means that the initial ability of teachers and students to solve Olympiad questions increased by around 11.6%. Furthermore, 26.67% of teachers and students could not answer a question. The tempe home industry in this region has significant economic potential due to its reliance on local raw materials and the skills of the local community. However, limitations in promotion and utilization of digital technology have resulted in product marketing remaining conventional and limited market reach. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this activity utilized observation, interviews, and direct mentoring of tempeh entrepreneurs to understand their actual conditions and marketing needs. The results of the activity indicated that entrepreneurs had a vision to become hygienic, high-quality, and highly competitive tempeh producers but lacked a structured digital strategy. Therefore, the community service team introduced a digital marketing strategy based on social media (Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business) and marketplaces (Shopee and Tokopedia) to expand market reach. Additionally, training was provided on promotional content creation, local product branding, and the development of a digital marketing evaluation plan. The implementation of this strategy is expected to increase competitiveness, strengthen the identity of local Madurese products, and open opportunities for expansion into modern markets.
