Abstract

Many companies in Indonesia compete in an increasingly competitive business world to make a profit. One of them is a company in the field of reliable and trusted transportation services, namely PT. Bluebird, Tbk. Currently, the competition of transportation service companies is growing very rapidly. The emergence of competitors forces the company to improve its financial performance. Company PT. Bluebird, Tbk experienced a decrease in revenue. The decline in revenue makes the company must think about the sustainability of its financial performance and think about strategies that will be applied for the sustainability of its business. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of profitability ratio (NPM, ROA, ROE) on the Company's Financial Performance at PT. Blue Bird, Tbk Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2022. In previous research, it was stated that there is an industry standard value profitability ratio that affects financial performance. The industry standard value for NPM > 5%, ROA > 9%, and ROE > 15%. If the value of NPM, ROA, and ROE is more than the same as the average value, the company can manage financial performance management well, and vice versa. The results of this study provide the fact that the profitability ratio that affects the financial performance of PT. Blue Bird, Tbk is NPM. The result of the average percentage of NPM value of PT. Bluebird points out that more sales have an impact on the company's net profit, which means the company's financial performance is also better. Meanwhile, the profitability ratio of ROA and ROE does not affect the financial performance of PT. Blue Bird, Tbk. This is because the company in managing its total assets and equity has not been able to improve its financial performance.
