Self Regulation dan Konformitas Sebagai Prediktor Perilaku Impulsive Buying

Shopping behavior at this time is not only to meet the needs of life but has become a lifestyle. So that with the development of the times it is easier to carry out impulsive buying behavior. The problem discussed in this study is the relationship between self-regulation and conformity to impulsive buying behavior. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between self-regulation and conformity with impulsive behavior in shopping, as well as how much influence the two variables have both partially and simultaneously. This study used quantitative methods with a sample of 140 students taken randomly from 4 faculties at one of the Ponorogo Universities. The results showed that self-regulation has no significant effect on impulsive buying behavior partially (p-value 0.573), while conformity has a significant effect on impulsive behavior (p-value <0.001). However, simultaneously, the two variables have a significant influence on impulsive buying behavior with an R² value of 9.8%. That is, this study shows that self regulation and conformity have a significant effect on impulsive buying behavior simultaneously.
