Peran Regulasi Emosi Sebagai Moderator Antara Impulsivitas dan Perilaku Mengemudi Berisiko

Remaja laki-laki merupakan salah satu kelompok dengan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas tertinggi di Indonesia. Salah satu faktor yang mendorong tingginya kasus tersebut adalah perilaku mengemudi berisiko, yang dipengaruhi oleh kondisi psikologis remaja. Pada masa remaja, impulsivitas cenderung tinggi karena perkembangan fungsi kontrol diri yang belum optimal. Di sisi lain, kemampuan regulasi emosi mampu memengaruhi hubungan impulsivitas terhadap kecenderungan perilaku berisiko saat berkendara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran regulasi emosi sebagai moderator dalam hubungan antara impulsivitas terhadap perilaku mengemudi berisiko pada remaja laki-laki di wilayah Jabodetabek. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling kombinasi purposive dan snowball sampling. Sebanyak 447 remaja laki-laki berusia 15-19 tahun menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis moderasi menggunakan PROCESS Macro Model 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi emosi berperan signifikan sebagai moderator dalam hubungan antara impulsivitas dan perilaku mengemudi berisiko. Hal ini berarti regulasi emosi mampu memperlemah hubungan antara impulsivitas dan perilaku mengemudi berisiko.
