Tegangan Keluaran Solar Cell Type Monocrystalline Sebagai Dasar Pertimbangan Pembangkit Tenaga Surya
Abstract
Kinerja sel surya dapat diukur dengan melihat kekuatan tegangan keluaran yang dihasilkan dari sel surya tersebut. Kerja sel surya dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal seperti bahannya, resistansi bahan, temperatur dan tingkat radiasi matahari. Dari kurva arus-tegangan (I-V) dapat diketahui parameter-parameter keluaran sel surya seperti arus hubunga singkat (Isc), tegangan terbuka (Voc), arus maksimum, dan tegangan maksimum serta daya maksimum. Dari pengukuran yang dilakukan pada jam 08.00 sampai dengan 17.00 di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik  Untag Surabaya, diperoleh data tegangan rata-rata monocrystalline 18,64 V. Besarnya arus pengisian rata-rata monocrystalline 1 A. Sedangkan besarnya arus hubung singkat rata monocrystalline 0,6 A. Dari analisa data sementera didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa solar cell tipe monocrystalline cocok digunakan sebagai pembangkit listrik tenaga surya pada kondisi iklim tropis di Indonesia, karena memiliki rata-rata arus pengisian yang lebih besar dibanding dengan polycrystalline.
