Perbaikan Pengerasan Jalan pada Jalur BTS Kota Sampang-Ketapang
Hardening Repair Road on the BTS Road, Sampang City-Ketapang
Abstract
The Sampang-Ketapang Bts. road section in Sampang Regency, East Java Province, is a strategic infrastructure that supports public mobility, distribution of goods, and access to public services. However, the existing condition of this road section experiences various functional damages such as cracks, potholes, and surface subsidence that impact safety, comfort, and increase transportation costs. This study aims to analyze and ensure the road pavement repair process meets technical standards, Bina Marga specifications, and SNI, so that the quality of the work results can be guaranteed. The research method was carried out through field observations, material testing, and supervision of the repair implementation stages, starting from preparation, spreading AC-WC materials, to compaction with heavy equipment according to procedures. The results of the study indicate that strict supervision of material use, work methods, and safety procedures can improve pavement quality, extend road life, and provide time and cost efficiency. By implementing sustainability principles, construction technology, and post-repair maintenance, this road section is expected to return to its optimal function as a safe, comfortable, and sustainable means of transportation for the community.
