Soshite Joshikousei Wo Hirou karya Shimesaba. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang konsep on dan giri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra dan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif serta teori yang menunjang penelitian ini adalah teori unsur-unsur intrinsik oleh Wellek dan Warren dan buku mengenai konsep on dan giri oleh Ruth Benedict serta jurnal oleh Takeo Doi dan Kiyohide Seki. Pada penelitian ini penulis mengkaji tentang konsep on dan giri yang tergambar pada tokoh utama dalam <em>manga Hige Wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei Wo Hirou</em>. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep on dan giri pada <em>manga Hige Wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei Wo Hirou.</em> Berdasarkan analisis data, terdapat konsep on golongan ke empat, kemudian dua pembagian pada giri yang terlihat yakni, giri berdasarkan jenisnya dan giri berdasarkan sifatnya. Giri berdasarkan jenisnya terbagi menjadi dua yaitu, giri terhadap dunia dan giri terhadap nama. Kemudian giri berdasarkan sifatnya juga dibagi menjadi dua yakni, atatakai giri dan tsumetai giri.</p> <p><strong>Kata Kunci:</strong> <em>on, giri, manga, Hige Wo Soru.
