Abstract

Discipline of Architecture Science is an education that combines between science and art. Output from Higher Education S1, is required to be able to display the work of respon sible architecture, which can answer the needs of society and the environment. Utilization of Information Technology and communication in the field of architectural science is inevitable. This is to adjust to the present era that requires practicality. The result from a 359 random survey of 120 respondents, it is devoted to the students of one of the universities in Surabaya at the s ixth semester program of Architecture, 70% of whom own personal tools such as software an d hardware and have been operating smoothly, stating that they are doing design tasks and making paper by utili-zing Information and Communication Technology is very helpful, providin g convenience, speed, accuracy of scale and size. But the average less satisfied in terms of dev elopment Creative design. 30% who do not have personal equipment, find it difficult to operat e it. In addition to the creation of tasks, they use to interact, brouwsing to obtain information and data and the like. Almost all information can be obtained through the virtual world, even within a few seconds. The purpose of this assessment is to find out the extent of the impact of Information Technology on architectural, opium, support or creative creativity education? The method used is observation through literature and interviews an d distributing questionnaires.
