Abstract

ABSTRACK

 

 

This research was conducted at the Nganjuk beautiful tourist spot. Where the tourism sector is an important sector to be developed in synergy with other sectors as a leading sector. Through a sustainable tourism approach, it is necessary to preserve nature and culture and their heritage to support the acceleration of national development. This study aims to analyze and develop tourism development strategies that can increase tourist attractiveness in Cengkok Asri Nganjuk Tourism. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using the SWOT analysis method to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges faced by Cengkok Asri Tourism. The research data was obtained by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. This study uses a purposive sampling technique because the informants to be taken will provide the information needed for the research. As well as to check the validity of the data used credibility, dependability, and confirmability tests in this study. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the right strategy and can be used for Cengkok Tamann Asri Nganjuk Tourism is an aggressive strategy based on strengths and opportunities. This strategy has been identified as the most suitable strategy for tourism development. The aggressive strategy includes utilizing strategic locations, improving recreational facilities and photography spots, building partnerships with local communities, developing environmental education programs, and implementing the concept of a tourism development strategy.
