Expert System Berbasis Forward Chaining Pada Personal Financial Assistant

Abstract

Limited financial awareness and a lack of discipline in managing money make effective personal financial planning a rare practice among the general public. Therefore, this research adapts knowledge from experts with CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification and transforms it into a system known as an expert system to assist individuals in managing their personal finances. This expert system offers three main features: financial check-up, personal fund management, and investment expert system. This study aims to develop an expert system using forward chaining method as a personal financial assistant, capable of providing personalized recommendation. The implementation of this research utilizes PostgreSQL as the database, Node.js for the API and expert system logic, and Svelte for the frontend, which is then packaged into an Android application using Capacitor. The system was tested with 150 respondents from various backgrounds aged between 18 and 54 years as the dataset. This system has been tested with respondents and validated by experts and get 100% validation. While using SUS testing method, this system got 90 score. Which is included in the Acceptability Range category (acceptable), in the grade scale category it gets an A, while for the adjective rating it gets the best imaginable value.

ABSTRAK

Minimnya wawasan finansial serta kurangnya disiplin dalam mengatur keuangan menjadikan perencanaan pengelolaan keuangan pribadi yang baik sebagai hal yang masih jarang diterapkan secara efektif oleh masyarakat. Maka dari itu penelitian ini mengadaptasi pengetahuan dari pakar/expert yang memiliki sertifikasi CFP (Certified Financial Planner) menjadi sistem yang dikenal sebagai sistem pakar, untuk membantu individu dalam pengelolaan keuangan pribadinya. Pada sistem pakar ini mempunyai 3 fitur yaitu, financial check-up, personal fund management, dan investement expert system. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pakar berbasis metode forward chaining sebagai Personal Financial Asisstant guna memberikan rekomendasi keuangan. Implementasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan PostgreSQL sebagai basis data, Node.js untuk API dan logika sistem pakar, serta Svelte untuk frontend yang kemudian dikemas menjadi aplikasi Android dengan capacitor. Aplikasi ini diuji dengan 150 responden dari berbagai kalangan dengan usia produktif 18-54 tahun sebagai dataset. Sistem ini telah di uji dengan responden dan di validasi oleh pakar/ahli, dan mendapatkan validasi sebesar 100% oleh pakar/expert. Sedangkan untuk pengujian menggunakanmetode SUS mendapatkan skor sebanyak 90, yang termasuk dalam kategori Acceptability Range ny adalah Acceptable, dalam kategori grade scale nya mendapat nilai A, sedangkan untuk adjective rating nya mendapat nilai best imaginable.
