Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of intellectual capital and capital structure on the value of palm oil companies in Berau Regency listed on the IDX with financial performance as an intervening variable. Secondary data was collected using a documentation method, in the form of financial statements for the 2021-2023 period from 13 palm oil companies listed on the IDX. The analysis tools used are: Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and Path Analysis.

The results of this study show that: 1) Intellectual capital has a significant effect on the financial performance of palm oil companies listed on the IDX; 2) Capital structure has a significant effect on the financial performance of palm oil companies listed on the IDX; 3) Intellectual capital has a significant effect on the value of palm oil companies listed on the IDX; 4) Capital structure has a significant effect on the value of palm oil companies listed on the IDX; 5) Financial performance has a significant effect on the value of palm oil companies listed on the IDX; 6) Financial performance is able to mediate the influence of intellectual capital on the value of palm oil companies listed on the IDX; and 7) Financial performance is able to mediate the influence of capital structure on the value of palm oil companies listed on the IDX.
