PENIRUAN GRUP MUSIK POLANDIA BATUSHKA TERHADAP KRISTEN ORTODOKS RUSIA: KAJIAN APROPRIASI BUDAYA

Penelitian ini membahas apropriasi budaya terhadap Kristen Ortodoks yang dilakukan grup musik asal Polandia, Batushka. Dengan mengkombinasikan semiotika dan ikonografi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bentuk apropriasi yang dilakukan Batushka dan intertekstualitas serta makna yang ada di baliknya. Metode Deskriptif-analisis digunakan untuk memaparkan analisis semiotika dan ikonografi dari Batushka serta menemukan keterkaitannya dengan konsep apropriasi budaya. Analisis dilakukan pada data yang didapat dari situs-situs resmi Batushka serta video youtube yang menampilkan pertunjukkan langsung Batushka. Hasil penelitian menemukan berbagai bentuk apropriasi terhadap Kristen Ortodoks dalam musik Batushka. Dari penelitian ini diketahui apropriasi yang dilakukan Batushka merupakan apropriasi religi dan dilakukan atas dasar peminjaman kekuatan dari Kristen Ortodoks untuk memberikan unsur black metal dalam musiknya.Downloads
