KAJIAN ARSITEKTUR RUMAH TINGGAL SUKU SAMIN “DULU DAN KINI†DI DUSUN JEPANG, DESA MARGOMULYO, KECAMATAN MARGOMULYO,KABUPATEN BOJONEGORO
Abstract
he Samin tribe are people who follow the thought of Samin's beliefs. They are usually called "wong sikep" which means someone who is good and honest. This is also reflected in the architecture of their house. Activities such as building a house, moving a house, processing agricultural land, taking care of death, and having a celebration, are carried out in a mutual cooperation called sambatan or rukunan. The Samin tribe in the Margomulyo area is referred to as ‘sedulur sikep’ which means having a close sense of brotherhood and mutual cooperation. The research method used is field research with descriptive comparative analysis. This study examines the features of the concept of life based on the social aspects of the tradition of building a 7 house, the arrangement of interior space, materials and building construction, by making a descriptive comparison between past homes and present dwellings. The results of the study indicated that the house of Samin tribe is relatively not changes from time to time. And even if there is a difference, this usually happens on the use of building materials. This concludes that the concept of ‘sedulur sikep’ is still maintained..
