AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Manuscripts must submit only online; proceeds are totally online and you will be guided stepwise through the creation and uploading of your files. Electronic submission reduces the editorial processing and reviewing times and reduces the time of submission to publication.

You have to prepare Anaphora template for your article. Anaphora: Journal of Language, Literary and Cultural Studies accepts research manuscripts that have not been published and are not currently in the process of scientific publication elsewhere. The manuscript texts are written in English. The main text of a manuscript must be submitted as a Word document (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf). Journal templates can be downloaded at the journal website. 

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript is original and is agreed to be scanned by a plagiarism checker by Anaphora team, such as Turnitin, with a score of less than 20% plagiarism by Anaphora editors.
  2. The manuscript template can be accessed at this link.
  3. The title of the manuscript does not exceed 15 words, which includes articles ("the, a, an”) and prepositions ("to, in, on").
  4. The English abstract is between 150 – 300 words.
  5. The English consist of 3 – 5 words.
  6. The manuscript is between 3,000 – 8,000 words, excluding the abstract and references.
  7. All references listed in the manuscript are referred to in the text and follow the APA style citations (like guided by the Microsoft Word computer program) or using MENDELEY, ZOTERO, or EndNote.
  8. The oldest references used in the manuscripts is 10 years old. In one manuscript, a minimum of 12 references related to the research should be included. To improve the quality of articles, we inform you that each submitted paper has at least 80% journal articles reference from primary resources that is published in the last 5 years.
  9. The pages appear in the following order:

    Title page, Abstracts (English), keywords (English),  Main text (Introduction, Method, Discussion/ Results/Finding, Conclusion), References are guided by the Anaphora Team Manuscript Submission Guidelines.

  10. The manuscript has used GARAMOND lettering with a single space and layout of heading, title, name, email, institution address, and Calibri Light for abstract and main text presentation of manuscript's content are like that specified by the Microsoft Word Doc. Template available on this link.
  11. The author agrees to wait for at least three months after the registration before Anaphora editors will communicate further about the review result and possible publication.
  12. The Publication Declaration, which also lists the contact information (email, mail address, and phone number - preferably with a WA number) is signed and sent along with the revised manuscript to the journal’s email.
