Perilaku konsumtif pada wanita pengguna produk kecantikan: Apakah berhubungan dengan fear of missing out dan citra tubuh?

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Body Image with Consumptive Behavior in early adulthood consumers of beauty products. The research method used in this research is quantitative. Subjects were selected using accidental sampling of 111 participants. The data collection instrument used a consumptive behavior scale, a fear of missing out scale, and a body image scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 for windows program. The results of the data analysis show that (1) there is a significant relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Body Image with Consumptive Behavior; (2) there is a significant relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Consumptive Behavior; (3) there is no significant relationship between Body Image and Consumptive Behavior.

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan Citra Tubuh dengan Perilaku Konsumtif pada masa dewasa awal pengguna produk kecantikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Subjek dipilih menggunakan accidental sampling sebanyak 111 partisipan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan skala perilaku konsumtif, skala fear of missing out, dan skala citra tubuh. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan Citra Tubuh dengan Perilaku Konsumtif; (2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dengan Perilaku Konsumtif; (3) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Citra Tubuh dengan Perilaku Konsumtif.
