SOSIALISASI STRATEGI PEMASARAN PRODUK SECARA ONLINE OFFLINE KEPADA MASYARAKAT DESA SEKETI, BALONGBENDO, SIDOARJO

Bambu merupakan salah satu tanaman yang populasinya banyak ditemui di sekitar masyarakat, terutama di Desa Seketi Kecamatan BalongBendo Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Masyarakat Desa Seketi mayoritas bekerja sebagai buruh pabrik dan sebagian menjadi pengrajin bambu, memiliki keahlian dalam memanfaatkan bambu untuk diolah menjadi kerajinan tangan. Kerajinan tangan yang umumnya dibuat oleh masyarakat Desa Seketi ini seperti topi, tampah, tas, kipas, miniatur hiasan pajangan dari bambu, tudung saji. Tingginya jumlah populasi bambu dan terbatasnya upaya promosi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat membuat mahasiswa KKN Tematik UBHARA, terutama yang berada di Desa Seketi berupaya untuk membuat masyarakat sadar bahwa hal ini merupakan potensi besar yang perlu dikembangkan. Salah satu cara yang dilakukan adalah dengan menunjukkan kepada masyarakat luas jenis kerajinan tangan lain yang dapat dibuat dari bambu. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan respons positif dari masyarakat. Selain kegiatan tersebut, potensi memasarkan produk bambu juga berpengaruh besar pada berlangsungnya kegiatan UMKM Desa. Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Seketi tentang pemahaman pemasaran, Membuat adanya keinginan untuk memberikan pengarahan untuk memasarkan produk kerajinan bambu tersebut agar bisa disebarluaskan pada kalangan umum.
