PELATIHAN KECAKAPAN HIDUP SISWA PKBM BANGUN BANGSA KOTA SEMARANG BERBASIS IT-PRENEURSHIP

Warga masyarakat yang menuntut ilmu sebagai siswa program kesetaraan Kejar Paket C di PKBM Bangun Bangsa perlu mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan di bidang teknologi informasi. Namun keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, menjadikan program pelatihan kecakapan hidup tersebut tidak dapat dijalankan. Menjawab persoalan tersebut, tim pengabdian masyarakat Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (UNTAG) Semarang menyelenggarakan pelatihan keterampilan praktis di bidang teknologi seni kreasi grafis digital, sebagai bekal berwiraswasta setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan. Tujuan kegiatan ini selain kemampuan hard skill yang berupa keterampilan membuat berbagai produk kreasi dari digital, juga memberikan kemampuan soft skill berupa pengetahuan tentang dunia wirausaha (IT-preneurship), sikap optimis dalam menghadapi hari esok dan sikap untuk tidak mudah menyerah. Metode pelaksanaan program meliputi: penyusunan diktat pelajaran, ceramah kewirausahaan, penyampaian teori, dan praktek keterampilan pembuatan kreasi desain grafis digital. Hasil yang telah dicapai adalah peserta pelatihan memiliki keterampilan mengoperasikan program CorelDraw dan Adobe Photosop, serta menghasilkan berbagai kreasi produk desain grafis.
