Abstract

Abstract

Aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of Behavioral Art Program that developed by Cou, Lee, and Feng in order to improve interaction social skill children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through self-presentation in autism service center. Participants of this study four children with ASD at third level who was selected through purposive sampling technique. Participants was divided in to two group based on their characteristic: children who tend to work in noisy situation and children who tend to work in calm condition. The intervention in this study was carried out 6 times divided into 3 sessions:  baseline, treatment, and non-treatment. The result showed that all participants improved their interaction social skill. Thus improvement was caused by their consistency attending the intervention program, their ability to understand, and the use of five step of presentation cards.
