Author Guideline

1. Elsains: Jurnal Elektro publishes research and contemporary studies in the field of electrical and computer engineering from various perspectives, including electronics, power systems, energy management, artificial intelligence, and related areas.

2. The journal accepts manuscripts in the following categories:

  • Research Articles: Original and significant research contributions that advance knowledge and technological innovation in electrical, electronic, and computer engineering.
  • Reviews: Comprehensive and critical evaluations of current research, highlighting recent developments, challenges, and future directions in the field.

3. Manuscript preparation guideline

3.1 Title Page

The title page must contain the following elements:

  • Title: Write a concise and informative title that clearly represents the core idea of the manuscript.
  • Author Information: Include the full names of all authors, their institutional affiliations, and valid email addresses.
  • Abstract: Provide an abstract not exceeding 250 words that summarizes the purpose, methodology, main findings, and conclusions of the study.
  • Keywords: List 3–5 keywords that best describe the main topics or concepts discussed in the paper.

3.2. Introduction

The introduction should briefly explain the background and motivation of the study, the research gap, and the importance of the work. Clearly state the research objectives or hypotheses and provide a concise review of related studies that support the rationale of the research.

3.3. Materials and Methods

This section should describe in detail the tools, materials, data, and procedures used in the study. Authors are encouraged to explain the experimental setup, algorithms, simulations, or analytical models employed. When adopting existing methods, cite appropriate and reliable references to ensure reproducibility.

3.4. Results and Discussion

Present the findings in a logical and structured way using tables, figures, or graphs when necessary. Discuss the significance of the results, compare them with relevant literature, and highlight the contribution of the study to the existing body of knowledge. Authors should also mention any limitations encountered during the research.

3.5. Conclusion

Summarize the main outcomes of the research and explain their relevance to the field of electrical, electronic, or computer engineering. Avoid repeating results already discussed in previous sections. Authors may include brief recommendations or possible directions for future work.

3.6. References

All cited sources must follow the APA reference style. Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency across all entries.

  • Minimum number: Each paper should include at least 20 relevant references.
  • Quality of sources: At least 80% of references must come from peer-reviewed international journals.
  • Self-citation: Self-citation should be limited to a maximum of three references, and only when directly relevant.
  • Recency: Preferably cite recent studies published within the last 10 years to reflect the current state of research.

4. Manuscript Submission

Authors should submit their manuscripts through the Elsains: Jurnal Elektro online submission system at https://jurnal.untag-sby.ac.id/index.php/elsains.  Manuscripts must follow the journal’s template and be prepared in Microsoft Word format. Detailed submission instructions are available on the website.

5. Peer Review Policy

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review to maintain fairness and objectivity. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process. Each paper is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The editorial team ensures that every review provides constructive feedback to enhance the quality of the publication.

6. Publication Ethics

Elsains: Jurnal Elektro is committed to maintaining ethical standards in scientific publishing. The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism, data manipulation, and unethical research practices. Authors are responsible for the originality and integrity of their work and must provide appropriate citations for all referenced materials.

7. Copyright and Open Access Policy

Elsains: Jurnal Elektro applies an open access policy, allowing unrestricted access to all published content. Authors retain copyright ownership of their manuscripts while granting the journal permission to publish and distribute the work online. This policy ensures broad visibility and accessibility for the global research community.
