Elsains: Jurnal Elektro is a national scientific journal established in 2016 and published twice a year by the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya University. It publishes high-quality research papers, theses, and projects in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, and computer science. The journal aims to advance knowledge and technology in these fields so that research outcomes can be widely applied. Topics of interest include image processing, robotics, control systems, instrumentation, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, power systems, energy efficiency, applied electromagnetics, wireless communication, wireless devide hybrid systems, and energy management and distribution.

This journal has been published every June and December by Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya Indonesia, and accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (RistekDikti) of the Republic of Indonesia in SINTA (Achieving SINTA 5) since December 7, 2022. The recognition was published in the Director Decree (SK No. 225/E/KPT/2022), effective until 2025.
