Rancang Bangun Pendingin Minuman Portabel Menggunakan Termoelektrik Tipe 12715
Abstract
Refrigerators usually use the basic ingredient freon, which is found in the compressor. The compressor is one of the main parts of the refrigerator cooling process, the use of compressors requires a lot of energy, and freon is an environmentally unfriendly material. In this study, a portable cooling device was developed using 18650 batteries as the main source to make it easier to carry anywhere and using 12715 type thermoelectrics. The method used in this research is an experimental method that uses the results of previous research as a reference for conducting thermoelectric variation experiments. This study uses 3 thermoelectrics connected in parallel to the cooling box. The results of the temperature value test when without a load of 14.3 ° C for 60 minutes. The temperature value when with a load of 2 bottles of water 18.8 ° C, 4 bottles of water 20.8 ° C, and 6 bottles of water 21.8 ° C. Coeffisient Of Performance (COP) value when without load 0.45 for 60 minutes. COP value when with a load of 2 bottles of water 0.27, 4 bottles of water 0.25, and 6 bottles of water 0.26. The 18650 Li-ion battery with 12V 40Ah capacity can last about 2 hours more
