Analisis Laju Kegagalan Transformator pada Penyulang Mawar Menggunakan Metode FTA di PT. PLN UP3 Jayapura
Abstract
In its effort to ensure stable and high-quality electricity supply, the State Electricity Company (PLN) faces the challenge of maintaining constant voltage amidst the increasing energy demand. This research employs field surveys and operational data collection to analyze the distribution system and detect disruptions and failures that may result from equipment damage, external interference, or human error. The Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method reveals that transformers are experiencing overheating, with temperatures reaching 560°C to 600°C, far exceeding the PUIL standard limit of 450°C. The transformer failure rate at LBS Gapura Uncen is , indicating a possibility of 7 failures in 1 million operating hours, whereas at the village office LBS, the failure rate is higher at , suggesting 1 failure in 100,000 operating hours. For the Mawar feeder, the peak failure rate is , indicating a peak failure likelihood of 3 times in 1 million operating hours. Based on these findings, it is recommended that PLN conduct regular transformer oil purification every 6 months and add an insert transformer (ABE050) at the village head office LBS to strengthen the resilience of the distribution network. By implementing routine maintenance and infrastructure improvements, PLN can enhance service quality and ensure a more reliable electricity supply for consumers.
