Individuals with partial color blindness often face difficulties in distinguishing certain colors. This study aims to design and develop a real-time color detection system with audio and digital notifications using an ESP32 microcontroller and TCS3200 RGB color sensor. The detection results are displayed on a 16x2 LCD, voiced through a DFPlayer Mini, and sent via the Telegram application. The research method used is engineering design, covering hardware and software development, as well as system testing. Testing results show that the system successfully detected red, green, and blue colors with 100% accuracy and an average response time of 1.9–2.3 seconds. This system serves as an assistive solution for individuals with color vision deficiencies to recognize colors more efficiently and interactively.
