The use of renewable energy, especially solar energy, is increasingly growing as an easily accessible, environmentally friendly solution in tropical regions such as Indonesia, including Gorontalo Province. Solar Power Generation Technology provides an alternative source of clean and pollution-free power that can be operated locally. The purpose of this study is to see the potential of a hybrid PLTS that combines solar power, the PLN electricity network to create an efficient and reliable electricity system in the Rusunawa environment of Telaga District. This system is expected to reduce electricity consumption from PLN and maximize the use of renewable energy. Based on the results of modeling using HelioScope, Rusunawa buildings in Telaga District can be installed with 258 REC Solar REC 280 TP modules (280 Wp per module) with a maximum capacity of 72.24 kWp. This system is also equipped with 258 Enphase M250 microinverters (240 V), with a total capacity of 61.92 kW. The simulation results show relatively consistent energy production throughout the year, ranging from 8,000–10,000 kWh per month, with the highest achievement in January at 10,214 kWh and the lowest in June at 7,926 kWh, this shows the potential for PLTS to be quite large
