JSpTS (Jurnal Spesialis Teknik Sipil) has a strict policy against publishing manuscripts that contain plagiarism. As a preventive measure, we conduct plagiarism checks on every manuscript submitted to the editor. Manuscripts must be free of plagiarized content, with a maximum similarity limit of 20%. If a manuscript has significant plagiarism, it will be rejected. However, if the similarity is low or the plagiarism is minor, the author will be asked for clarification. To detect plagiarism, manuscripts will be screened using several plagiarism detection software programs, including Turnitin.

If a published manuscript is later found to contain plagiarism, sanctions will be imposed, ranging from a warning to the retraction of the manuscript.
