Focus and Scope

Jurnal Spesialis Teknik Sipil (JSpTS): Journal of Civil Engineering Construction Management Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya, as a medium of communication and dissemination of research results and scientific work in Construction Project Management. Editorial JSpTS is very open to accepting articles and book reviews related to our scope in the fields of Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Project Quality Management, Project Contracts, Project Financing Management, Quantitative Methods & Construction System Analysis, Project Management Information Systems, Project Investment Management, Construction Methods and Technology, Construction Risk Management, Project Planning and Control Engineering, Construction Administration & Management, and Project Investment Management.

Peer Review Process

Jurnal Spesialis Teknik Sipil (JSpTS): Jurnal Spesialis Teknik Sipil is a journal published by the Prodi Magister Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Research articles sent to this online journal will be reviewed in double (both reviewers and authors remain anonymous with each other) with at least 2 (two) reviewers. Accepted research articles will be available online after the journal peer-review process. The language used in this journal is Indonesian or English.
To check Plagiarism, JSpTS: Jurnal Spesialis Teknik Sipil Editor will filter plagiarism manually (offline and online databases) on the Title, Abstract, and Body Text of the manuscript, and by using some plagiarism detection software (Turnitin, Unplag, and Crosscheck). If indications of plagiarism are found the editorial board will immediately reject the text.
Review Process:

  1. The editor receives the script from the author;
  2. The editor evaluates the text (objectives and scope of the journal, in-the-house style, additional data); (Denied if it does not meet the criteria)
  3. Screening editors for plagiarism in offline and online databases manually; (Rejected if substantial plagiarism is found, the writer is contacted if found a small redemption or plagiarism for clarification)
  4. The editor sends the manuscript to the reviewer along with the review form (double-blind review, both the reviewer and the author remain anonymous with each other);
  5. Reviewer sends back the review form to the Editor (with revised manuscripts if necessary);
  6. Editor's decision (rejected, requires significant revisions, needs minor corrections, or is accepted);
  7. Confirm with the Author.
  8. If revised, the author changes the text and must return it to the editor immediately. Answered more than three months would be considered as a new shipment.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange.
