Abstrak: Anime merupakan salah satu jenis seni kontemporer atau modern yang di minati oleh berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi Shuujoshi No dan Yo yang digunakan oleh tokoh wanita dalam anime “Violet Evergarden”. dalam analisis digunakan pendekatan Sosiolinguistik dan metode deskriptif sebagai desain penelitian . Sumber data yang digunakan adalah anime Violet Evergarden Episode 1 sampai 9 dengan hasil temuan sebagai berikut; pertama: fungsi shuujoshi No: (1) Pertanyaan sebanyak 24 data, (2) Penyampaian berita dengan lembut sebanyak 29 data. Kedua: fungsi shuujoshi Yo: (1) Ajakan sebanyak 1 data, (2) Pernyataan untuk memastikan sebanyak 20 data, (3) Omelan atau hinaan sebanyak 6 data, (4) Permohonan sebanyak 2 data.

Abstract: Anime is one type of contemporary or modern art that is of interest to the public. This study aims to describe the Shuujoshi No and Yo functions used by the female characters in the anime "Violet Evergarden" according to the context. Using Sociolinguistic approach and descriptive method as research design . The select data source is anime Violet Evergarden from episode 1-9 with the following findings : function of shuujoshi No: (1) 24 data questions, (2) 29 data delivers news gently. Second: the shuujoshi Yo function: (1) 1 data invitation marker, (2) 20 data giving a statement to ensure , (3) 6 data showing scolding or insults , (4) 2 data Indicating requests.
