Author Guidelines

(Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis) JEB17 publishes original, unpublished studies related to economics, business, marketing, and related sciences. Each paper has to have a certain format in order to be published in the journal.

• All papers must be submitted by online submission
• Authors should follow the format of the journal.
• All correspondence should be directed to the editor.
• There is no submission fee.

The following style of instructions should be followed in the manuscripts submitted for publication in the (Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis) JEB17.

1. All submitted manuscripts must be original work that is not submitted to another journal or under consideration for publication in another form, such as a monograph or chapter of a book. Authors of submitted papers are obligated not to submit their paper for publication elsewhere until an editorial decision is rendered on their submission.
2. The text of the manuscript should be prepared in 11 pt type, Arial font, with 1 inch margins. The text should be single spaced.
3. The title page shall contain the title of the manuscript, an abstract of not more than 200 words, 6 Keywords
4. The title page should also include the names of the authors, their affiliations and email addresses. Corresponding author should be clearly indicated.
5. Footnotes should appear at the bottom of the page on which they are referenced
6. Tables and Figures must be numbered with Roman numerals and should be placed in the appropriate place in the main text. Tables can be single spaced and the font size should be 10 pt. Each table and figure must have a title followed by a descriptive legend.
7. Equations must be numbered consecutively on the right margin. Please submit math equations as editable text and not as images. 
8. References appear at the end of the paper. They should be single spaced and 11 pt font size. APA reference and citations format should be used. Ensure that All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa.

All citations in the text should refer to: 

• Single author: the author's name (without initials, unless there is ambiguity) and the year of publication; 
• Two authors: both authors' names and the year of publication; 
• Three or more authors: first author's name followed by 'et al.' and the year of publication. 
• Citations may be made directly (or parenthetically). Groups of references can be listed either first alphabetically, then chronologically, or vice versa. 
  Examples: 'as demonstrated (Feliks, 2000a, 2000b, 1999; Feliks and Hotman, 1999)…. Or, as demonstrated (Feliks, 1999; John, 2000)… Feliks et al. (2010) have recently shown …' 
  List: References should be arranged first alphabetically and then further sorted chronologically if necessary. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters 'a', 'b', 'c', etc., placed after the year of publication. 

1. Authors are expected to consider carefully the list and order of authors before submitting their manuscript and provide the definitive list of authors at the time of the original submission. Any addition, deletion or rearrangement of author names in the authorship list should be made only before the manuscript has been accepted and only if approved by the journal Editor.
