TRAINING ON DETERMINING PRODUCT BRANDING STRATEGIES FOR MSME GROUP OF MUKTIHARJO KIDUL VILLAGE
Abstract
Masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang belum memiliki dan kurangnya pemahaman akan pentingnya strategi produk branding menjadikan usaha yang dijalankan menjadi kurang maksimal. UMKM hanya fokus untuk membuat dan menjual tanpa memikirkan keberlangsungan usaha mereka untuk jangka panjang. Masalah inkonsistensi produk dan layanan menjadi beberapa hal yang sering dialami oleh para pelaku usaha tersebut. Dampaknya adalah loyalitas konsumen menurun yang diikuti dengan menurunnya omzet penjualan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya strategi produk branding dan penetapan strategi product branding. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah pembinaan dan pelatihan penetapan strategi branding untuk anggota kelompok UMKM. Hasil dan Luaran dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Kelurahan Muktiharjo Kidul, Pedurungan, Semarang antara lain para pelaku UMKM dapat meningkatkan kemampuan untuk memahami pentingnya strategi produk branding dan menetapkan strategi produk branding untuk usaha yang dijalankan. Diharapkan dengan strategi produk branding dapat meningkatkan loyalitas konsumen yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan omzet penjualan di Kelurahan Muktiharjo Kidul, Pedurungan, Semarang.
