Sosialisasi Pemanfaatan Listrik Rumah Tangga di Kelurahan Waena Distrik Heram Kota Jayapura
Abstract
Kelurahan Waena, yang terletak di Distrik Heram, Kota Jayapura, berada di kawasan pinggiran kota dekat Danau Sentani dengan tingkat sosial yang lebih rendah dibandingkan kawasan perkotaan yang maju. Sebagai kawasan hunian, Kelurahan Waena dirancang untuk melindungi dan memperkuat kearifan lokal masyarakat adat suku Tabi Papua. Kehidupan sosialnya memadukan sistem tradisional dan modern, di mana masyarakat tetap mempertahankan kelembagaan adat sekaligus mengadopsi teknologi modern seperti listrik dan peralatan elektronik. Untuk mendukung pemanfaatan listrik yang aman dan efisien, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) Universitas Cenderawasih (UNCEN) mengadakan kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat.
