Peran digital lifestyle dan social network terhadap risiko nomophobia pada gen Z

The research conducted by the author aims to determine the relationship between digital lifestyle and social network on nomophobia among Generation Z in Surabaya. This study is motivated by the increasing use of digital technology and social media among young people, which potentially leads to anxiety when individuals are unable to access their smartphones. This research is a type of quantitative study using a correlational method. The population in this study was Generation Z students in Surabaya, and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling, involving 384 respondents selected based on specific criteria. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that digital lifestyle and social network simultaneously have a significant effect on nomophobia, with an F-value of 15.986 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.01). Partially, digital lifestyle significantly affects nomophobia with a t-value of 3.999 (p = 0.000), and social network also has a significant effect with a t-value of 3.456 (p = 0.001). These findings indicate that digital lifestyle and social network are significant predictors of nomophobia among Generation Z
Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara digital lifestyle dan social network pada Generasi Z di Surabaya. Hal yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah fenomena meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi digital dan media sosial di kalangan generasi muda saat ini, tentunya akan memicu individu tidak dapat jauh dari smartphone. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah partisipan 384 responden dengan kriteria khusus yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan digital lifestyle dan social network berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nomophobia dengan nilai F sebesar 15,986 dan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,01). Secara parsial, digital lifestyle berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap nomophobia dengan nilai t sebesar 3,999 dan signifikansi 0,000, sedangkan social network juga berpengaruh sangat signifikan dengan nilai t sebesar 3,456 dan signifikansi 0,001. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa digital lifestyle dan social network merupakan prediktor signifikan terhadap nomophobia.
