Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Leader Member Exchange (LMX) and work engagement on honorary employees. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The subjects in this study were 148 temporary employees. Data retrieval in this study was carried out online using the google form. Data retrieval was carried out using two scales, namely the leader member exchange scale to measure the leader member exchange of honorary employees and the work engagement scale to reveal the attachment of honorary employees. In this study, data analysis used product moment correlation with the help of SPSS version 25.0 for windows. The results show that there is a relationship between leader member exchange (LMX) and work engagement with a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.733 with a significance (p) = 0.000 (p < 0.01), it can be interpreted that there is a very significant positive relationship between leader member exchange and work attachment to honorary employees. The results of this study are useful for organizations so that honorary employees can maintain work engagement.

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Leader Member Exchange (LMX) dengan keterikatan kerja pada pegawai honorer. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah 148 pegawai honorer. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara online dengan menggunakan google form, Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua skala yaitu skala leader member exchange untuk mengukur leader member exchange pegawai honorer dan skala keterikatan kerja untuk mengungkapkan keterikatan dari pegawai honorer. Pada penelitian ini Analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 25.0 for windows. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara leader member exchange (LMX) dan keterikatan kerja dengn koefisien korelasi (rxy) 0,733 dengan signifikansi (p) = 0,000 (p < 0,01), maka dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikani antara leader member exchange dan keterikatani kerja pada pegawai honorer. Hasil penelitian ini berguna untuk organisasi agar pegawai honorer dapat mempertahankan keterikatan kerja.
